We are pleased to offer you an exciting opportunity to join the newly established EASA Part-147 AMTO, as a permanent or part-time Technical B1.1 or B2 Instructor.

The Technical Instructor will develop, deliver and maintain both practical and knowledge based training programs from technical standards and regulatory information to Part-147 requirements, to meet the needs of our AMTO and its customers.

Requirements and Skills

Hold an Aeronautical or Electrical Engineering Academic degree
Hold a B1.1 / B2 License with a min. of 3 years' experience in Aircraft Maintenance
Preference will be given to applicants who have instructor experience on Airbus and/or Boeing aircraft
Hold Human Factors + EASA Part-66 and Part-147 certificates
Hold Instruction/Training Qualification
Aviation technical training experience will be considered as an advantage
Familiar, and up to date, with EASA Part-145 & Part-147 requirements and relevant elements that are assigned to the scope of instruction, but also about the rules and specific procedures (MTOE...)
Excellent command of the English language both spoken and written
Good understanding and experience of relevant aviation legislation so as to promote regulations and procedures
Expert for instruction disciplines, from complex aircraft systems to basic trade engineering fundamentals
Must have initiatives, be enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to travel
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work in the engineering environment (facility, training aircraft, workshop, classroom)
Advanced computer skills with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ability to develop training material using these programs or online methods

Job Summary

Within a Part 147 environment, you will perform theoretical and practical maintenance courses on all ATR versions and systems.
Courses are performed either in ATR training centers (Blagnac, Singapore, Miami) or within client’s facilities (airlines, maintenance centers…).
Courses can last up to 8 weeks (maximal length).

Requirements and Skills

Hold a Part 66 B1 and/or B2 license
Min. experience of 10-15 years in aeronautic maintenance
Proficient in English (read, written, spoken)
Experienced on turboprop airplanes (ideally on ATR-500 series)
Experience and ease in teaching would be a plus (even if you will receive a complete training)
Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
Ease in public speaking
Familiar with computer tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Open to a constant improvement process (listening to customer’s feedback and needs).
Manage and comply with clients’ various technical and cultural backgrounds

Job Summary

For internal hiring, we are opening positions as ATR 42/72 SFI under Freelance or 2-years contract, based in USA.

We will consider experienced SFIs non-current on type.

Minimum requirements are mandatory.
